What is a drott and why use one?

The technical term for a drott is a Traxcavator. The word "Traxcavator" originally came from combining "tractor" and "excavator". So basically it is a bulldozer with a loading bucket instead of a pushing blade. The benefit of this is that a drott has the ability to pick up material and load as well as excavating (pushing) material. Most drotts have a rigid track frame which is advantageous for leveling. A drott a basically a big bobcat but on tracks instead of wheels.
